Our goal amount has been adjusted...

Our goal amount has been adjusted to include the cost of the final arrangements including headstone. We are amazed at the out pouring of donations that have came in by way of online donations, mail, and ones given in person at Uriel's services. We are currently at 56% of our new goal which is AMAZING!!! We can't thank you all enough for your support.

Thank you to all who have contributed so far. If anyone else would like to make a donation, I will be collecting donations at the services as well. This website is great if you are not close by to donate, but they do keep a larger portion than I realized. Since every penny counts at this point please make donations in person or by mail. SAN MARTIN, CA Funerals & Memorials

The family has put this page together to help raise funds to go towards the funeral expenses for our beloved Uriel Villa.

Uriel, aka (Odie, Uri, Udi, Babies, Alex) was born on November 3, 1987 and raised in Gilroy California. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of many people with his infectious smile and care free spirit. His laid back attitude and magnetic personality always made him the life of the party.

On January 12, 2012, he was diagnosed with Sarcoma (soft tissue) Cancer. He underwent some of the most aggressive chemo and radiation treatments available, and still managed to keep his bright shining smile along the way. His main strength through this all was his devoted girlfriend Veronica Morales that was with him on this journey every step of the way and never left his side. She really got him through his darkest days and for that our entire family is forever grateful. She was able to brighten his days when few others could. She is truly an angel that was sent to him with a purpose.

On February 20, 2013 he took his last breath at the young age of 25 with his loved ones by his side. He was a fighter. He fought a long and hard painful battle, but he never gave up until the very end. He is survived by his older siblings (Hector, Jose, Roel and Alma), and his parents Jose Alejandro Villa and Francisca Nievas Villa.

He is in a far better place now, and he wanted you all to remember the happy times.

We thank you all for your love and support during these difficult times.
