THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! I want to thank you all so much for all the prayers, support and donations. My family and I are so blessed and grateful for each and every one of you: from friends, family, co-workers, students & parents, and even people we don't know! Words can never express how appreciative I am for everything you all have done.

This has been a very terrifying time, not just for me but everyone that surrounds me. But that is all over now. I've been home and getting stronger each day. Doctors say I will make 100% recovery which is amazing news, but for now I have to take it easy. Before we know it, I will be back to being the old Lani/Ms. Lopez.

Again, thank you soooo much!!! You will never know how grateful I truly am to have you all in my life.

This is Ricky, Lani's fiancé. On behalf of Lani and myself we would like to express our sincere grattitude for the wonderful generosity that has been displayed on this site. I know what an amazing woman i have here, but it is truly a pleasure to see how many lives she has touched or brightened. She is truly a ray of sunshine. Just wanted to write to give everyone a quick update, she is progressing and currently breathing on her own. It has been determined that she was attacked by a viral infection that has affected her heart and lungs. She has what is called viral Myocarditis in the heart. The doctors expect Lani to make a full recover, but it takes time. Lani's body has to fight off the infections that are currently present. But, she is a fighter so I know she will conquer it. Once again, we are very overwhelmed by all the love, support, and generosity. We look forward to thanking each and every one of you in person very soon! Thank you all so much!
