Hi Everyone!! Sorry it has been so long since the last update. I believe the last update was when Graice was in transit to rehab. After being in rehab for about a week, Gracie was transferred back to Jersey Shore where they found that she had a bad infection. Mom insisted that Gracie be taken to a more proficient hospital. Gracie is currently at a hospital in NYC for almost two weeks now. We are extremely hopeful that she will be going home this week. Please hope and pray that Gracie and Mom get to come home this week!!! They both need some normalcy back in their lives. Eight plus weeks in the hospital with no breaks is a lot for anyone! Fingers crossed! XOXO

Good Morning!!! Today is truly...
Good Morning!!! Today is truly a great morning!! After many weeks of waiting, Gracie and Mom busted out of the hospital!!! They are currently in transit to Rehab!! No more baby steps for Gracie...she will be taking big girl steps soon!!! Thank you again to everyone for your continued support!! Gracie is an amazing little girl, can't wait until she shocks everyone at rehab. They will be out of there in no time!! Please continue to share Gracie's story, since she is now out of the hospital I'm sure the bills will be rolling in soon. She will also need more surgeries in the future. Thank you again to everyone!! Let's hope and pray for a quick rehab stay...Gracie and Nicole can't wait to get back to normality!!

On February 16, 2013 Gracie (Graziella) Saracco, 11 months, suffered life threatening injuries after being attacked by a dog. She was airlifted to the nearby trauma hospital where she will remain for weeks/months to come. Gracie is currently stable but still in critical condition; there are also still many unknowns. The main injuries include the loss of her left ear, a fractured skull and missing bone from her skull. There are underlying issues as well. Doctors are unable to tell the full extent of her injuries at this time and will know more in about six months. As many of you could imagine, on that day a nightmare became reality for her family. It also marks the beginning of sweet Gracie’s baby steps to recovery. Donations are being raised in an attempt to make this journey a little easier on an amazing family at such a difficult time. Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share this link.
This page and fund was started by Jackie and Alicia. Nicole (Gracie’s Mom) is not only our best friend, she is our sister. We hope that everyone can make an effort to help this beautiful baby make a full recovery. All monies will go directly to Gracie’s medical expenses and recovery. Hi, I check regularly for updates on baby gracies status...haven't seen a post in a long time and I'm hoping all is ok. I went to school with a mutual friend of the family and found it about this through her on face book...hoping and praying she is doing well.
