2018 Glass Float Project

The Glass Float Project is a public art installation on Block Island where the public is encouraged to participate and keep the glass that they find. The costs involved in making glass are extremely high, so we ask that you donate to the project to help this successful event continue. In the past I have used kickstarter to raise funds for this project, but the way kickstarter is set up, I can only fundraise for 30 days. That format has prevented many from contributing during the float hiding season. Because of that, I have decided to use Gofundme for fundraising in the future.

Donors who have donated amounts over $50.00 will be givin access to a private facebook group page where I will share photos of hiding locations that will not give away exactly where the glass orbs have been hidden, but will be used as clues. The link to the page is https://www.facebook.com/groups/186354321937907/   Also, donors of $50 or more will be given an invite for a party at our new studio this summer to make your own float to be hidden.  
I will send a thank you email as well with the link. It is a closed group, so the donation name must match your facebook name.
