For The Interns - Young and French

Well, I am lucky to have hired two wonderful interns for the winter/spring period. They will be working on some cool stuff they like that also benefits my company. I want you to donate $10, $20, or $50 to reward them for their effort.
Why you and not me?
My name is Malcolm, I am a tile contractor in the Toledo OH market. My business is small, (actually its micro with only four tilers), so when you consider 50-500 person organizations call themselves small - we are micro. lol. And in the trades, at least in my area, you can only be real low overhead to survive. In sum, I'm broke.
But broke does not stop me from making things happen for my tribe. So donate!
Why you should donate:
Look, Young and French are doing this for the joy of the work. They are getting an opportunity to distinguish themselves in the market prior to graduation, only four months from now. They are not expecting to get paid. But you can change that. And you should.
Didn't you ever do something nice for someone when they weren't expecting it? And when you did that thing, weren't they so surprised? Their whole faith in the world was renewed. And I bet yours was too. That's what you will be doing here.
Mine is not a big ask here, only $500. So I'm sure you can all get together and pull it off. Send Young and French out in the work world with an undying optimism in the human spirit. Send them out there with the confidence that they can get stuff done in a real work environment. Give these two young women a leg up!
My only commitment to them is conditional; that if they see their project through, I will be their biggest cheerleader reference. You all know how tough it is out there to find a job, especially if you are young and inexperienced. Neither has landed that first job yet, but I am confident they will. They are both smart, motivated, and responsible. And I am lucky to have them - if but for this brief moment.
