ESL Materials for Refugee Students

The Burmese Immersion Project is an entirely volunteer-based organization in Milwaukee. We tutor and mentor children, teens, and adults who are refugees from Southeast Asia. Most of our students fled from the conflict in Burma (Myanmar.) They are very hard workers and are highly motivated to learn English. We help them with homework as best as we can, but we need our own ESL teaching materials to help students improve their English. There are fantastic teaching materials out there that would make a huge difference. YOU can make a difference.
