We have always paid our own bills but due to losing over $1200 a month suddenly, our home is now in foreclosure. We havent made a payment since August and the bank has already started the process of foreclosure. My husband was in the Navy for 10 years and due to the process of elimination and him not advancing to first class quick enough, he was forced out. Now he works full time as a civilian. I am starting nursing school and have not been able to find part time work anywhere. Im sure alot of it is the economy but, I also lack job experience. I started having my children at only 16 so my main focus has been parenthood. I had my life all out of whack and now we are just trying to make it through life's tribulations and trials, until I can finish school in late 2014. We have fallen sooo far into debt. We just want to save our home. We would also like to be able to clean things up since it is older. Our AC unit is from the 80s and our electric bill is double what it should be. Our credit is all but ruined at this point. With all credit cards maxed out and no other directions to turn, you guys are our last hope. We believe in the power of prayer, and we know God will help us one way or another. Even if you are not one to believe the same way we do, you can still be a huge blessing in our lives. We have no other options at this time. Once the end of May rolls around, we will be able to start receiving enough money from the VA to make our mortgage payment thats roughly $960 per month. To make things even worse, with each month we are behind, the bank tacks on more fees. Even if the finance company allow us to roll the past due balance onto the end of our loan, we still would need to make it until June. All help is appreciated.
