I just wanted to take this...
I just wanted to take this time to say thank you to everyone for your calls, texts, posts, and donations that allowed me to achieve another goals I have set for the continuation of my track and field career! The competition went exceptionally well, I made the final round of the competition and finished 8th overall which is a major accomplishment for myself!
Competing at this level also opened my eyes to the next level of dedication and preparation needed to continue to fulfill my dreams! This was a true blessing to be able to be amongst our countries greatest athletes!
With the indoor season coming to an end, I will be beginning the outdoor season, hoping to reach the outdoor national championship held in June. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of my outdoor season, and again thank you for your continued support!

My name is Kevin A. Mays II, a
recent Central Michigan University Graduate student-athlete, following graduation I decided to dedicate myself to the sport of track and field, specifically the 35-lb
weight and the hammer throw and my goal is to continue to compete at a high level. I've always dreamed of being a professional athlete and this may be my breakthrough opportunity.
The 2013 USA Indoor Track and
Field National Championships will be held March 1st through March 3rd,
in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Without the support of endorsements, scholarships, grants, I will
have to fund this out-of-pocket which would be literally impossible for me to
do at this time. So my plea to you is a sponsorship that will assist me with
the opportunity to compete in this event.
Sincerely,
Kevin A. Mays II
