Hope for Jayne

In early December of 2012, our best friend, Jayne Burke was diagnosed with very aggressive brain cancer. This diagnosis came as a complete shock and has completely upended her and her families lives. After that shocking diagnosis, it was also found, on Christmas eve, that she had another tumor on her spinal cord. This tumor, unfortunately, has also been determined to be a very aggressive cancer as well, completely unrelated to the tumor in her head and leaving her unable to walk.
Jayne is a vibrant, funny, happy, 42 year old wife and mother. Her son Michael is the center of her life as is her husband, Chris. She loves the beach, Bon Jovi, LL Cool J, Blue IROC Z's with t-tops, all things 80s and hanging out with her friends.
Due to the in-patient rehab and radiation treatments Jayne now requires, she has been unable to work. Her husband has also been forced to reduce his hours to part time in a sales related field. He is no longer making the commissions he's used to. The financial strain that this is placing on them is mounting. Any donations you can make will go directly to helping Chris keep his bills under control and a stable home life for their 8 year old son. Jaynes rehab is in Bayshore and the 45-55 minute drive each way is taxing on fuel costs as well. It is understandable that Chris wants to be with his wife whenever he can and he's doing his best in his new role as primary caregiver to both Jayne and Michael. He's balancing work with the needs of his home, shopping, cleaning, etc. As you can imagine, its very overwhelming.
