The Black Curry Project

Black Curry, is a feature film project to be directed by actor/filmmaker Jim Parrack (True Blood, POST). It features a nearly exclusively first feature cast and will use only actors from Playhouse West Philadelphia. By diving headfirst into a horrifying, suspenseful, supernatural thriller that won't answer to movie making conventions and with a large cast of unknown hopefuls, we will deliver not only and UNFORGETTABLE movie but do so in the spirit of making the dreams of these acting students come true. A hope for the finished product is something that reaches out into the world and far beyond an educational experience. If the day comes where we recoup the investment through the sale or showing of the project, everyone who invest will be paid back in full and first of all.
