Male-to-Female Transition

Hi, everyone! ^_^


My name is Jocelyn Charity DiDomenick. I am a male-to-female transsexual who is working on transition. I am also the writer/artist of "Rain", an LGBT-themed dramedy webcomic that attempts to explore said themes in a primarily positive and inspirational light.


What I am NOT however, is wealthy. As a matter of fact, I'm struggling quite a bit financially. Although I've been able to publish the first volume of my comic (and working on the second), I simply don't make that much from it. My wife makes enough for us to get by, but transition is still pretty expensive (including hair removal, legal name change, hormone prescriptions, doctor's visits, and obtaining female clothing) and I can't expect her to pay for everything.


I've applied to part-time jobs, but the market's proven rough; I barely get called back, let alone hired if I get as far as an interview. And job hunting takes up the time I could be spending with the comic. And I personally believe working on the comic is a better use of my time, considering what it means to myself and many of my readers.


So, it would mean the world to me if anyone could lend me a hand. Every little bit helps. The money would primarily go to transition-related expenses, allowing me the ability to afford the resources I need to make my transition a successful one.
