Hey Everyone! My name is Emily Taylor and I am Jared's girlfriend. I recently set up this page to help Jared pursue his dreams of going to Israel. As of a month ago Jared was accepted to obtain his Masters degree at Jerusalem University in Israel. Jared is planned to leave January 23rd and will be abroad for a total of 3 and 1/2 months (first semester).
The University is a Christian college that allows students to obtain a degree while also studying in the footsteps of Jesus, and the Apostles. Jared will be on locations where the events of the scripture actually took place. Jared will be able to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the world of the Bible, much of which remains like it was 2,000 year ago. Jared will be immersed in the arabic culture, learn the language, visit historical places, as well as ministry opportunities.
As everyone knows that past couple of years has been really hard on the Ullman family. After the passing of Jared Sister and Father, Jared has been struggling with his purpose in life and what he feels GODs next step is for him. He is at a complete loss.
Jared has been eyeing this opportunity for the past year but at the time it was not feasible. He missed the school deadline. However, GOD HAD A PLAN FOR HIM. When he called the school, they accepted him into the program on the spot!
Jared was so happy but he struggled with whether he should go or not. After reading about Jonah and the whale God laid on his heart that he needed to trust in God and go.
School is going to be expensive. Jared cant apply for any scholarships until the second semester. So my purpose here is to raise as much money as possible to help Jared pursue his dreams. Our goal here is 2,000 dollars but from everyones kind heart we hope to raise more. I want jared to be able to go over to Israel and worry about one less thing (how he going to fund it).
As you you all already know that Jared is a wonderful person. He has put half of year off from work to come home and care for his family. He is a great brother, son, and friend to all of us. This is Jared time to shine....so LETS make this happen!!! Please donate however much you are comfortable with. Even if it is as little as a dollar, everything counts! All donations are secured through the webpage and go directly into the webpage account. There is a daily count on the page to display the amount raised. We have three weeks to make this happen!
