I am so happy to report...
I am so happy to report that Chris was hired this morning. He will be starting Wednesday with orientation! His first pay check still won't be until after the new year starts, so any help extended to get them through until then is appreciated and needed. I want to reach the goal because I know they need the extra help to get caught up on everything and start their new year on good footing.
I am astounded at the generosity of so many people. Everyone who has donated is truly a hero in my eyes because you are helping this wonderful family with their financial transition out of Military life. Not only that you are giving them a huge gift of love and support that has lifted their spirits and renewed their drive to succeed.
I cannot thank all of you enough.

In 6 hours we have raised...
In 6 hours we have raised enough to pay Belle's tuition cost for school.
Annabelle loves going to school. She hasn't been able to go this month because her tuition was due, but other bills like rent and utilities had to be played first. She is 3 years old, and before she started she would grab a book bag and put it on and say "I'm going to school now!" She started school because she WANTED to go, and Lyzz and Chris wanted to send her.
After she started she would come home using sign language, speaking Spanish, telling me about the days and months and telling us stories. When I asked her what she wanted for Christmas this year, she asked for a telescope. She is such a bright girl.
Thank you all who have donated so far. I want to reach our goal which will help the Petrie's cover ALL their bills. Any amount of money given is deeply appreciated.

Chris and Lyzz are awesome. But sometimes life isn't awesome to good people. Chris served honorably as a Marine for 4 years, he deployed to Afghanistan shortly after his daughter Annabelle was born. When he left she was barely able to lift her head and when he came home, she wasn't just walking she was running around.
