Please help save Allie the Iguana's life

First let me just introduce myself. My name is Claire Rickenbach. I am an a education major at Framingham State University. I just recently bought a house in Framingham with my boyfriend. We are both working very hard to pay the bills while also renovating at the same time. The first few months have been tough but we have been getting through.

Now let's get the point of the story. I would like to introduce the love of my life, Allie the pally Rickenbach. She is my loving and wonderful iguana. Allie is the most mild mannered and sweet iguana you could ever meet. She is not your average biting and tail swinging iguana. I never thought an iguana could be cute but she has forever changed my mind. She has received loving compliments from everyone  lucky enough to have met her. Her pet-sitters even call her their "sweet little green princess".

My sweet little princess is very sick and needs your help! I took little Allie over to the vet on November the 25th and received some sad news. Allie has an Abscess sore in her mouth. It is a little pocket of infection that makes it very painful for her to eat and drink. Usually these sores are not that bad but because she has been living with my parents (who lovingly took care of her but did not know how to recognize the symptoms), it has gone untreated for too long. She needs to receive a surgery that will cost about $675. I have already  started her on antibiotics and have been giving her special food. I love my iguana dearly but I do not have the money to pay for it all, and without proper treatment she'll die. Please help! I can't imagine life without her and any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated. I need to save my baby's life!
