Chili Lions Junior Midget - Nationals

The Chili Lions is a small town Pop Warner program that’s been in existence for 49 years now. It is a small not-for-profit family-based organization that prides itself on promoting fellowship, recreation and entertainment for our youth members and their families. The Chili Lions provides a safe and structured environment for our participants while instilling the values of teamwork, dedication, and superior work ethics both in and outside the classroom by teaching fundamental values, skills, and knowledge that our athletes will use throughout their lives.

The cheerleading program is a big part of our organization and this year, for the first time in 49 years, our Junior Midget squad has the opportunity to compete at the Pop Warner National Tournament held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. This will be the first time in the organization’s history that a competitive cheerleading squad has made it past the Eastern Region Championship and advanced to the National tournament. The program is super excited for these girls to have this opportunity! However, it is quite costly. 

We are writing in hopes that you would be willing to provide a donation to help these 12 girls achieve what they have dreamed and worked towards for many years. As the head coach of this team, I have coached many of these girls for upwards of 4 years now. I’ve had the opportunity to watch them grow and watch them perfect their fundamental skills in competitive cheerleading. The girls excel not only as individuals but also as a team – they are a family and I want nothing more than for them to be able to attend Nationals and have that incredible experience that’s been many  years in the making.
