Bridge a Gap for Lupus Patient Colleen

Donation protected
My friend Colleen has worked very hard to remain independent and maintain a home for herself and her pets, a dog name Gracie and a rescue mustang named Sage who she has raised since he was brought in as a sickly and emaciated colt from the wild.

She has worked full time and volunteered at animal shelters and community projects. Her dedication to helping others has been one of the most notable traits about her.

In October 2010, Colleen was diagnosed with Lupus Panniculitis and had to undergo surgery to remove the damage the disease had done to her shoulder and arm. She still lives with a severe spinal injury related to the Lupus.

She returned to work full time as soon as her employer allowed. Unfortunately, the medical expenses and the time off have kept her from getting back on her feet. She faces the threat of losing her home and not being able to care for the animals who are the most cherished beings in her life.

Colleen has looked into bankruptcy. Unfortunately, the protection of law would not save her from the threat she faces this month. Garnishments have depleted her paycheck.

This good person needs help bridging the gap. I can't do it alone, and she deserves more help than I can offer.

Thank you for your time.
