Bring Sisters in Cinema to San Diego

The Women of Color United San Diego invites you to an intimate evening with the cast and director of "If I Was Your Girl 2" the web-series. Coquie Hughes, the director, is an urban filmmaker and a driving force in the independent filmmaking community. Her work speaks to the issues concerning lesbian and bisexual families in urban African-American culture.
The San Diego LGBT Community Center and Passage Playground Productions is proud to host the premiere of this film. Bringing sisters in cinema to San Diego responds to a call for representations that reflect and embrace our lived experiences and a culture of coming together.
