Coach "DiBo" DiBenedetto has made a career of helping students and athletes alike become better people. He now needs our help as he's lost his home in a fire in Belle Harbor, NY during Hurricane Sandy.
Let's all pitch in with donations, love and support and help a Coach that have been such a vital part of our lives, and the lives of all in the Tech community!

Coach, you and your family are in my heart. Whenever I sing, my heart fills with joy and I thank you for that gift.

Dibo, I am sure you were a surrogate father to many students and players. We extend or love and appreciation to you and your family. Be well.

From Dibo: It's overwhelming to see and read this outpouring of love that I am receiving from the people who are great friends and are very dear to me. The things we have shared and the challenges we have faced together as football players, choral students, colleagues and friends give me the strength to move forward and meet this latest challenge in my life with a firm resolve. I don't feel sad or depressed. I feel like accepting this latest challenge with all the energy that I process and all the strength I can gather from the people who have made me a better person; yourselves. Kathy and I will rebuild in Belle Harbor and thrive. Please don't feel sorry for us and don't feel you need to make a contribution. Your love and support are all we need to get through this and move forward. There are many less fortunate people who have lost more and need more help than we do. Anything collected towards our recovery will be turned over to charities that will help these people rebuild and move forward who are less fortunate and don't have a support group as strong as ours. With much love, Dibo

The only thing that concerns me about this is that GoFundMe actually takes 5% of our donations...I wish 100% of our donations could go to DiBo

I agree with my dear friend, Miranda! DiBo, you're loved & supported by SO many people! Please let us know how we can continue to help you rebuild after this tragic loss, as you've helped so many of us. I am so glad you're alive and with us, still. Technites: You all rock! This is amazing.

The generosity is truly amazing! This is proof positive that DiBo has touched many people's lives in many, many ways. He may have lost material possessions but he has an abundance of LOVE! Technites are the BEST!
