Here is a post from Katie...
Here is a post from Katie Lux and family....
Thank you so much to all those amazing people out there. Please send your prayers and keep our community in your heart. Luckily nobody lost their lives and almost everyone on the point evacuated. We are very luck that we still have all of our family and friends. Thanks again. - the Lux/Mckeefrey and Breezy Point Family
Created by Sarah Watters Hutton on October 30, 2012
On October 30, 2012, The Lux Family lost their home in Breezy Point, NY to a fire as as result of hurricane Sandy slamming into the East Coast. Between 80-100 homes in their close knit community were destroyed. This was a special place for the family as it was a home that had been handed down through the generations. Many wonderful memories were made in Breezy and at this home. Katie Lux was a dedicated member of the Marist College Volleyball team, graduating in 2006. Her volleyball family has set this page up to collect donations that will help the family with their immediate needs as they try to piece everything together. Thanks for your support!!
