Just passed $13,000. Although we are wayyyy past our goal of $10K, let's keep going. New homes do not come cheap these days... Please keep sharing this link with your facebook friends and email contacts.

The first $5000 was deposited in Jim and Deb's bank account today! If you live in Wawa and want to help but are without a credit card or paypal account, just go to Northern Credit Union. They have a special account set up for them. Just say you want to deposit some cash in their account.

Also, I will once again pass on their mailing address for those of you who wish to send cheques in the mail...

Two days ago, Wawa, Ontario was hit by record rainfall. The Trans-Canada Highway North and South of the town was washed away. Some dear friends of mine also had their home destroyed. These are amazing people who have helped me personally many times. Now it is my turn... Please give what you can. Every cent will hopefully help them build their new dream home and make life a little easier in the mean time.

Jim and Deb way to go. I am so happy you are reaching your goal. We too have had troubles in my family because of Hurricane Sandy. We lost our home. We have no money, no food, and our car is completely damaged. I hope God will bring great people to help us. God bless you Jim and Deb.
