Gwen needs your help!!!

This little girl only weighed 3# when I took her into my home. . She was neglected, abused and hadn't seen the light of day for months and no medical care for her conditions. Gained 3 ounces since vet care has been started. She is unable to get up on her own becasue she is so weak. It is beyond me how someone could let this happen but what is really a bad situation was actually created by her owner who is a VET! This little dog was left in a 3 year olds room with no supervision with a untreated medical condition to top it off. 

When I was given the dog I was told she was in liver and kidney failure and was not given any medication to treat this. Only herbs and acupunture. None of which has been true with the current medical test done. 

So far in all the tests they have found that she is very anemic and with a high level of white blood cells. Tried to treat her with antibotics hoping it was just an infection. Has not worked. So they have taken X-rays.  Her liver is so large it is pushing her stomach to the top of her rib cage. Based on the information so far  doing a ultrsound and possible aspiration to test for immune issues is the next step.  Doctor feels that with this they can help her and put her on medication to get it under control. 

  Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. So far her Medical bills have been $570.00 Woof! Woof!
