Toby's hip surgery
Hey everyone, Toby's a sweet and loving 10 month old chihuahua, that stole our hearts the moment we saw him. A few months back we started to notice a small limp in his right leg and worried we took him to the vet, and after several visits and different treatments with anti-inflamatories we had no success toby's leg has gotten worse even after limiting his activities. After re-examining an X-Ray taken on the first visit and taking into consideration the unsuccessful anti-inflamatory treatments the vet diagnosed Toby with hip dysplasia this is when the dogs hip does not develop normally and the ball(top of the femur) does not fit snuggly in the the socket causing constant pain and discomfort for Toby. To ease the pain we carry Toby up and down the stairs and shorten his walks,he hasn't been able to go to the dog park or play much at home in the last couple of months. Our only option is to get Toby hip surgery but the surgery has been estimated at around $1,000-1,500 dollars. Seeing as we are full time students we dont have the immediate funds to pay for the surgery so we need a little help, any little it counts no donation is too small. Toby is a joyful puppy that deserves to live a long and happy life. we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
