Pathway Home Foundation's Food Pantry

The Pathway Home Foundation, Inc. is a federally recognized 501c3 not-for-profit organization.  Since 2006, we have been helping children, families, and the elderly face and overcome unexpected tragedies that can lead to homelessness, families and children separating, and hunger. 
 

Our most pressing need is support for our food pantry.  We have a program called the “8,000 Pounds of Food Giveaway".  During these events we feed over 200 families with children who are disenfranchised and in need, and over 100 seniors.  In just 1 day, we provide hundreds of bags containing wholesome and well balanced food to approximately 1,000 people in our community who need it the most.      

Our other feeding program is our food pantry.  We provide food to needy families, the elderly, the under-employed, veterans, the homeless and the disabled.  Currently, we help an average of 900 individuals, including 600 to 500 children, and over 150 elderly every month. 

The numbers of children and their families are growing monthly.  These families have a real and documented need for emergency food.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to meet the needs of everyone who comes to us.     

Please help.  All volunteers have full-time jobs, and we provide these services to the community of Riverdale, Georgia and the surrounding metro Atlanta areas without any compensation, after work and on the weekends. 

We use our personal cars to pick up and deliver food.  Additionally, we usually pay for the majority of the food we give away, out of our own pockets.  We pay for appliances and facilities that house the food pantry.  We also pay for repairs and maintenance on the appliances and facilities we use to help feed the needy. 

We as volunteers, actually roll up our sleeves 2 times a week, every week, to serve the community that depends on us. 

100% of what you donate to will go to feeding the needy.
