I have met my goal and...
I have met my goal and then some!!! God is so amazing and I have wonderful family and friends! It is such a blessing to be able to go to Haiti and it is only 4 days away!! I do have one more favor; it is for you to pray pray pray for the team and myself as we are on this trip. No sickness or injuries and that our hearts, minds, and ears will be ready for anything the Lord has prepared in advance for us to do!!
On a side note, on January 1-4 the college part of the group will be in Atlanta for this conference called Passion. I am extremely excited about this and I am hoping to grow tremendously with my relationship with the Lord and get some direction in my life!! I can so excited and nervous at the same time but I know God will use every opportunity to teach me :) Thank you and love you!!!

This year has been a year...
This year has been a year of blessings and triumphs. When I first signed up for Haiti, I was thinking to myself how I was going to raise up $2,300 by myself because I really did not want to ask for help. Along the journey of raising the funds, God told me "reach out and share your story with others because they would love to help you and see what I am doing with your life." That was hard but I said BRING IT ON! Who is going to tell Him no right? Many friends and family have blessed me so much it is so overwhelming. I cannot believe that I am $500 away from going to Haiti and sharing the love of Christ with children and adults but as many of you know children have my heart :) <3 I just want to thank you again for supporting me! I pray a blanket of love joy peace and many other gifts over your family through the holidays.

Wow how blessed am I!! Having friends and family who want to support me is so humbling. I am so close to my goal thanks to you guys. The prayer and donations are so greatly appreciated and know that I am extremely thankful for both. God is showing me more and more about His love every day! I am so excited to go to Haiti and share His love that He is showing me and to be able to use my passion for sign language. The best part is that I get to play with children as well!! Goodness, I get more and more excited every day and again, thanks to you all I get to go :) May God continue to bless you more and more every day!

Hey! I am going on a mission trip to Haiti to help move, teach, and love on a deaf community in Port-au-Prince and a place 45 minutes north of it called Leveque. A basic overview of the project objectives are: one, to develop a permanent and sustainable community for the deaf previously living in the tented camp and currently residing in the temporary community at La Paste. Two, we want to mobilize other NGO's, churches, and supporters to leverage their expertise and resources to contribute to the project. Thirdly, provide life-skills training, adult education, access to quality education for the children, and improved health and wellness through clean water and sanitation solutions for the community residents. Lastly, we want to provide long-term income opportunities and training to ensure the sustainability of the community and independence from Western support. Can I please have your help? God is going to be greatly involved in this trip and I am so excited to see where He leads me. The deadlines for the finincal goals are:
Aug. 7th $150 non-refundable deposit
Sept. 4th $500
Oct. 9th $750
Nov. 6th $500
Dec. 4th $500

I am halfway to my goal thanks to my friends, family, and most importanty the Lord. I know the over all goal meter says differently but with thefunds I raised before this I am about halfay there! A little update, I am at a grand total of 1,350! He is blessing me and I pray that He blesses you! I am extremely excited to go to Haiti!! :)
