Following a dream!

"Dad can I get a dog sled for Christmas?", I said curiously. Those were the words that started my whole adventure and got me to be where I am today! 

I'm leaving my home in Hopewell, Pennsylvania the weekend of December 130 ,2012 to set on the road to go live in Sterling, Alaska for 3 months. I will be competitively training for Jr. Iditarod 2013 and a few other races. 

Jr. Iditarod is a 150 mile sled dog race that usually starts in Wasilla, Alaska the last Saturday in February and ends in Willow, Alaska the following day. You must be 14-17 years of age to compete in the race. I will enter as a 16 yr old and as a "rookie". 

As most of you may be thinking, "Isn't Alaska really cold??". Well of course! But it's all in the fun of dog mushing!

I'm asking for you support to help the funds needed to complete my dream. Anything and everything will be greatly accepted and could not be thanked enough!
