Help (or sponsor?) Zoe return to London, England to continue her career as a violinist!

...Recently, the UK Border Agency changed many of its requirements for those who seek to work (or remain working) in the UK.  For those people employed by large firms or who are fortunate enough to have sponsorship, these changes could have gone completely unnoticed.

For those of us who are self-employed, however, these changes have been career ending.

In the six years I've spent living in London, I've obtained a degree in violin performance and built a career as a freelance violinist.  London's a tough nut to crack and it was hard work, but it paid off.  The life I had in London wasn't paved with riches, but it was comfortable and rewarding.  I could go out to the theatre, eat in restaurants, enjoy my hobbies, spend time with good friends, travel, and when I'd fulfilled my work commitments, I even had enough free time and energy left to perform in charity projects or volunteer my time.

This all ended on July 6, 2012, when I was forced to leave the life I'd built, simply because the UKBA hasn't left many options for the self-employed.

Because of these recent changes, the only way for me to return to London as a self-employed violinist is for me to show that I have access to £200,000.

Whew!  That's a lot of money.  I had a good career... but I don't make that kind of dough.

So this is why I brought my case to gofundme.com.

What I've done, is I've written and recorded a song and am posting it here.  It's available for download and if you like it, you can pay me what you think it's worth or whatever you like.  If you don't want the song, but just feel like helping me get back to work, or think these new requirements are silly, I'll gladly accept anything you'd be so kind as to give.

Something else that would be gratefully accepted:

SPONSORSHIP!

or...

passing this message on to someone who can help with...

SPONSORSHIP!

Thanks for taking a few minutes to look over my page.  I truly appreciate it and am grateful for all the support people have shown.  It just proves to me even more that when we stick together... we can do anything.

Best of luck in all you do.
