Ridealist - Non-profit video production
Since then, we have produced more than 35 videos for NPOs in China, Hong Kong, Britain, Kenya and Uganda whose efforts are making a valuable and positive contribution to society. We offer tailored content in English and Chinese on an entirely pro-bono, volunteer basis.
We have also covered the entire production cost, including equipment, transport etc.
Since 2010, Ridealist has been legally registered as a society in Hong Kong.
Ridealist videos cover an eclectic range of topics that are dear to our heart. They include domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, the environment, animal rights, equality, and many more.
Our videos are widely distributed on GoodnessTV, GoodTube, YouTube and the Internet websites of our client non-profits and shared among interested parties where they reach an average audience of at least 500 daily views.
Among many other projects, we are planning a trip to Uganda in 2013 to film a documentary about the work of Hands of Action - and the small team of international volunteers who are helping to create a sustainable and aid-independent community in the district of Bukibukolo.
We plan for this short documentary to be a template, or a model, for other small and diverse groups of individuals to follow.
We aim to demonstrate in a visually stimulating and entertaining way, that by pooling their talents in a creative way, they can apply the lessons learned in Bukibukolo to their own particular projects.
