Power Wheelchair Batteries desperately n...

Hello everyone, and welcome to my page.

Just to start, I was born with a rare birth defect called osteogenisis imperfecta. In short, it means brittle bones. Because of this, I cannot walk, and must use an electric wheelchair for my day to day activities (which are many, including college and work).

For the past few years I've been waiting on the state,whom' funds wheelchair repairs for me, which can be quite expensive. After a long process, it was determined that I was not ready for a new wheelchair yet, despite the fact that the one I currently had, would not take me where I needed to be.

Well, after looking on craigslist, I was able to purchase a used chair, which lasted MUCH longer than my current, and took me where I needed to go. Unfortunately, the batteries were also used, and are now dying. I need to purchase 2 new batteries, which both cost around $175 a piece.

Although I do work, I receive very little cash, and most of it goes to bills. I simply do earn enough right now for batteries... even though I really need them. If anyone could donate, I would be eternally grateful! I'd love to get back in my other chair, which drives much further, so I can go to college and work without worrying all the time about my chair dying.
