Car repairs for cancer patient

I'm seeking help to either repair my car or purchase a new used car. I am a stage IV lung cancer patient and currently have to rely on friends and family for any transportation, which often leaves me trapped at home and often leaves me scrambling to find a ride to my doctor and chemotherapy appointments.
I am on disability (100%) and I am barely making ends meet. There is no way I can afford repairs on my own and my friends and family already are stretching themselves helping me with bills and groceries each month.
My 1994 Ford Escort died a few months back and needs to have the engine rebuilt or replaced plus a few other more minor repairs like having one headlight assembly replace (can't drive at night without two working headlights).
I do this as a last resort having exhausted all other avenues, so any donations will be greatly appreciated!
