My sister, Amy Gilmore, is a 42-year-old single mother of two. One of which is autistic and requires a lot of care. In November 2011, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. She has been an elementary teacher for 8 years and loves it with all her heart. However, she was not able to work the full year due to her chemo treatments and two major surgeries. Therefore, leaving her with limited funds to pay all the medical bills. We are hopeful that she will be able to get back to work full time, yet, she still has several radiation and chemo treatments to complete.
As you can imagine, this unexpected family crisis has taken quite a toll on Amy, emotionally and financially. She has been Gilmore Strong through this journey and is determined to beat this. With your help and support, she will be able to focus on beating this cancer and being a loving mother to her boys.
Thank you all for your donations, support and most
importantly prayers. We do believe in miracles and we pray for one each day.
God Bless you.
