Project Five-Star Gives Homeless A Boost

Donation protected
Project Five-Star doesn't exist yet, except as a concept that's been growing on my mind and as a book that I self-published. In its entirety it cuts a broad swath through problems with homelessness. But the entire project is expensive and I want to start small.

For each $100,000 raised, I can train, cloth and certify 40 homeless men and women, and also try to help them find computer-related jobs. The more money that is donated, the longer I can provide this service, and eventually, expand the service to include housing, meals and suitable clothes for homeless men and women in Raleigh and the Triangle area.

But it needs to get off the ground. I need money to rent an office, to act as a storefront where I hope the students can get some first-hand experience with computer repair and set up. I need money to ensure their certification tests are paid for and to provide transportation for the students to interviews.

That's the basic set up that the first $100,000 will buy.
