Death is nothing at all I have...
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

I just can't stop crying and thinking of Megan. What a horrible thing for a human being to endure. Rest in peace Megan....I didn't know you in life but in death your memory will be with me forever. Such a beautiful person taken from this earth way too soon. Bless your wonderful family .. may they find some comfort in knowing how many lives you have touched.

Rest in peace baby girl, and may God give comfort to your friends & family. You are no longer in pain, you are truly one of God's angels. I never met you, but learned to love you thru your story. Rest now Megan, rest in peace

Megan, I'm praying for angels of comfort to surround you and give you peace while you wait for God to work in your life and heal you. I am survivor and from 2005 & 2007 and still having problems with my spine/discs from neck to low back. I am sure my daily pain is nothing compared to yours. Be strong sweet Megan

I'm so thrilled to hear that the car wash went so well! I would have been there, but a 10 hour drive was a bit much ;-) I'm still praying for everyone.

The hospital staff and all the people praying for you are wonderful. I love you ....aunt Alisa

Hi Baby, It's Mammaw, I just wanted to tell you how much I love you, don't you ever forget that. I am praying for you continuely. I know God answers prayers because I am seeing Him doing it. Soo many people praying for you, so many churches with you on their prayer chains and list. I know God is holding you in the palm of His Hand, protecting you and whispering in your ear. It makes me think of one of my favorite tracks -- Footprints, is so true. I know in time as you look back you will see one set of footsprints --His, holding you. In His peace and love, I love you Baby. Mammaw

My prayers go to Megan, her family and friends. I am a burn victim as well and know the emotional and physical pain that comes along with it. My burns were caused by electricity though. I hope your recovery goes well. If you even need a person to talk to who understands, feel free to contact me. I posted my FB personal and community page in a message to this pages admin. I am also the 2nd recipient of the Nations full face transplant. I'm not sure how extensive your burns are but if you want to go that route, I can get you connected with the team in Boston. Stay strong and don't give up, it does get better!
