This is Tchaikovsky's Story
My story is dedicated to honoring the bond between me and my human parent, as we are separated by quite a distance right now.

My mama, and I have been inseparable since she rescued me in 2009; we have one of the special bonds that exist between best friends, because mama is committed to our companionship.

I was born and abandoned in the streets of Italy at four months old, I soon became victim in a car accident and I suffer from epilepsy ever since.

Seconds after that car accident…I met her, my mama. She gathered my little body, putting me in her tote bag, rescuing me, and I have known that same love from her ever since, as my mama.

I am now 5 years old, and mama has always taken on the responsibility of honoring her promise to me by giving me a home, bringing me to the Veterinarians every 90 days (required for epileptics) for Phenobarbital Test (AED), giving her love and all I deserve, until one day it happened. . .

Mama, an original New Yorker, worked and lived here in Italy for thirty years; and due to Italy’s devastating economic situation, she became destitute and homeless herself.

It was Dec of 2013, when she began the process to relocate us both to the United States where she could find work.

Later on in March 2014, mama found a shelter in New Hampshire, USA to receive her; however the shelter could not accommodate pets.

Emotionally struggling with tears in her eyes, mama said to me: “Tchaikovsky, I won't give you up. I will never abandon you. I will never surrender you to killing animal shelters.”

Mama left me in Italy, however in the loving hands of our Veterinarians Paola and Simona to attend my seizures when they arise, and, provide me shelter, until we could reunite again.

Mama arrived in New Hampshire, and, as of May 2014, she has been working hard, earned and paid off her debit of $2,270.00 for Veterinarian services accumulated, since March 2014.

SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Now, mama is saving her money for permanent housing, which she will move into very soon. I'm so proud of her and what she is doing to make it possible for us to be together, so we can live life where ever it may take us. I long to be purrrrrring in her arms again! Mama is working so hard to get me back to her. I want to be there!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We are challenging each of YOU, special, caring people that have compassion for the human animal bond, to donate anything, even a few dollars to get me to where I belong. Mama has researched many travel options, including different carriers and services. The best option is to fly Manifest Cargo via Alitalia Airline AZ604 from Milan (MXP) at h 01:01 pm, direct to New York (JFK) arriving at h03:52 pm. The ticket costs $1,524. 02 (see contract) and we have additional charges for ground transportation from JFK to New Hampshire, USA, where mama presently resides in a homeless shelter.

There are also expenses for the crate that is needed for my safe transport. (In the short interim that I arrive and mama is in the shelter, I will stay at a foster home in NH; but mama and I will be close enough to able to see each other until her permanent housing become available). Any additional funding will be used for my Veterinary care upon arrival in the USA, including medicines I need for my epilepsy.

It is not easy, and it’s very expensive, for a domestic pet to fly alone, as there are many IATA regulations. Mama has sought many different funding options, but there is nothing available to help with the big expense.

We are challenging each of YOU, special, caring people that have compassion for the human animal bond, to donate anything, even a few dollars and PLEASE share my story to someone in a similar condition, who needs a way to keep their loving pet.

Why homeless people are forced to give-up their pets?
• The number one reason homeless people give-up their pets, is because homeless shelters usually do not allow pets into homeless shelters.
• Homeless people give-up their pets in exchange for shelter, because there are no resources available to them, as to how they can keep their loving pets.
• For example, often homeless people are asked to surrender their animal if they want their pet to receive care and this is why more and more families will ‘feel’ that it is necessary to give their pets up!

Tchaikovsky's Circle Of Kindness is an assembly of Compassionate people supporting mama emotionally, and me…A Homeless Pet of A Homeless.

Thank you for your contribution which will allow us to reunite and, then YOU will be a BIG part of Tchaikovsky's Circle Of Kindness. It would be very grateful if YOU could share Tchaikovsky's Plea on your social networks.

Again, thank you, as we are asking for your help, generosity and support to help meeting our goal.
