Mt. Kilimanjaro-Equal Playing Field

Hi everyone!
This summer, of 2017, will be one for the history books.
THE TREK-
I am joining an internationally collected team that will travel to Tanzania, Africa, to climb the continent's tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. As this mountain stretches 5,895 meters into the sky, it makes for the world’s tallest free-standing mountain and one of the seven summits.
Here, is where we look to set the official World Record for the highest altitude FIFA regulated match ever attempted, by either gender. Once we reach the crater at just below the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, we will lay down our temporary pitch to play the football match of a lifetime. A full 90 minutes of football at such altitude has never been attempted and because the air is so thin there is a real danger of altitude sickness, so preparation will be key.
After descending from the mountain, the group will split into smaller teams and run simultaneous football training clinics for women and girls in a several countries. We are looking to unite women and girls from around the world through our common love of the sport.
The entire initiative will be constantly documented throughout the entire trek to create a non-forgetable experiance to watch once publicized and globally realesed by our award winning filmakers and media team. This includes a full-length documentary, social impact film shorts, a social media presence combined with other notable shared-value campaigns and sports outreach and training mediums, as well as traditional international press coverage.
THE IMPORTANCE-
This journey is more than climbimg a mountain to set a world record. It's about working to bring greater awareness to the inequality in women's sports. Women all over the world are constantly told they cannot play the sport they love because they are feminine and it is not allowed. Challenge the social norms for girls and women in sport, what kind of opportunities are available, the acceptance and respect they earn as athletes and individuals, and what they or anyone else thinks they can achieve. We are particularly bothered by the fact that globally the vast majority of girls give up sports by the time they are teenagers, often because that is what is pressured and expected by society, or because they are strictly forbidden from playing. We deserve better.
MY ROLE-
I have grown up with football as a main part of my life ever since I was born. Playing competivly in club football outside of playing on my highschool JV1 team. This sport is the first to teach me dedication, sportsmanship, and given me my first leadership roles. Playing this sport that I love has lead me to become the person I am today. I am beyond blessed to be offered a role in this amazing initiative. I am climbing as a substitute for one of the teams playing in the world record attempt. This means as a 15 year old girl, I will be the youngest member of this initiative and possibly the world record! I have been charged with researching and helping find funds to help make this happen, but I need your help to get me there.
FUNDING-
The raised funds will help cover the trek cost which includes climbing, guides & lodging over 8 days: . It will also include climbing Gear (walking boots, trousers, jackets, rucksack, poles, gloves etc). These do not include the flights from Dallas, Tx to Tanzania, Africa nor the immunisations or vaccines. Any and all funds donated are emensly appreciated! Please help me travel to this amazing, inspriring journey to have an adventure of a lifetime.
