I'm so blessed to be a cancer survivor for over 31 years as of November 2017. In August 2016, I started feeling painful aches in my leg, lower abdomen, and the area where I had cancer as a baby. As months passed, my physical capabilities started to restrict my work in my cleaning business. By January 2017, my painful aches turned into chronic, excruciating pain where I had to give up my professional cleaning clients. My pain would come sporadically, any time of the day and still do.
I started going to the doctor in January about the chronic pain because it was making me have a shortage of breath. I went to the emergency room four different times before I got admitted on November 14, 2017. The pain got out of hand where my life was on the line. Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN diagnosed me with a tumor. When I went into remission in March 1985 they informed me of having a higher risk to get cancer again. For some reason, that tumor has caused only my right side to be affected. My right eye sees double visions which limit my driving capabilities and reading right now. My walking and physical abilities are limited to avoid chronic muscle spasms and tumor aches. I know God is sending angels into my life to help me through this.
As of November 29, 2017, my biopsy results, a day after my 34th birthday I was informed that a malignant/cancerous tumor has formed again. I scheduled to start 18 weeks of Chemotherapy starting December 14, 2017. I have been out of work going on 11 months. The doctor informed me that I will be out another 6 months or more with the process.
I have already depleted my six months emergency savings and need help paying essential bills, car expenses for traveling back and forth to the hospital over the next 4 1/2 months. My situation is urgent because my working abilities are restricted. It is hard to keep up with my bills without money flowing in consistently. Any money donated will go towards important personal and medical bills, money to buy food, personal hygiene, etc.
My mom will have to drive me from Mason to Memphis, TN 30 miles one way.
