1st Knights Of Columbus Poker Run

The "Riders Of The Knights" Motorcycle Event is the first of its kind done for the benefit of Knights Of Columbus Council 3601 in Los Angeles as a fundraiser.
Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national and international projects. The KOFC was created in 1882 and has always engaged in works of charity to benefit the less fortunate.
The success of this event depends on the attraction we bring to the attention of the public at large.
The "Rider Bag" that will be given to 300 registered motorcyclists the day of the event. The bag will include a rider pin, T-Shirt, Music CD's , a few other items and brochures supplied from participating sponsors.
We need money for these products that will bring Motor cycle enthusiasts to enter the run.
The purpose of this particular bag is to promote the KOFC as a supporter for this event and be in contact with motorcycle owners who ride out in search of new adventures. Chances are many are professional people that we may not reach otherwise. We are currently reaching out to the organizer of the "Love Ride" Community through Glendale Harley Davidson and other motorcycle shops who will be receiving a list of our sponsors. www.RidersOfTheKnights.com currently under construction. We need money to pay for the website developement and maintainance.
The donation of a gift/money/certificates/volunteers would be advertised to our riders as well as those through our social media efforts. A "Silent Auction" will be held at the end of the run with live entertainment. The winners will be notified and information will be displayed on our site.
As a 3rd degree Knight myself, I want to see the work of the Knights Of Columbus here in L.A. taken to another level. I would also like to be involved in more events like this with other Councils across the Nation!
