Joey's Wheelchair Fund!

My husband was DX in Aug 2013 with a Glioblastoma brain tumor, they removed 98% of it and they there was 6 weeks of radiation and chemo. The tumor/medication left Joey unable to walk. Joey lost the use of his left side. Joey is still undergoing chemo at a 5/23 day cycle which we have to travel for.Joey needs a wheelchair for everyday living right now, and what we have is a loaner, and is way to big and uncomfortable so Joey can't sit for very long and is in bed a lot, so it makes going on long trips for his appt's very hard on him. On May 2nd Joey was fitted and measured for a wheelchair that is made and designed just for him, with a special seat and arm rest etc....they thing is this wheelchair is going to cost anywhere between $3000 and $4000. 
Since Joey's DX we both have been off work, as I have become Joey's fulltime caregiver, so money is tight. With the travelling expenses to go to appt's,medication, medical supplies and other special things Joey needs it has been hard to save money towards this chair he needs so bad.This new wheelchair will be a lifeline to Joey as he will be able to get out more and have a better quality of life.
