Always Remember - Miami Showcase!

Greetings friends, family, colleagues and anyone else interested in seeing an epic creative work of ours come to life!
Always Remember is an original musical about the Cuban-American experience by Marilyn Morales. In song and dialogue, it tells the story of a Cuban family's struggles and triumphs from the late 1960s during the oppressive Castro regime through the time of the Mariel exodus. The characters and scenes in the play are drawn from Morales's life and documented accounts by other Cuban refugees.

The Unconservatory and Fire Haus Projects will present a showcase of selected songs and dialogues from Always Remember to the public - and to potential sponsors:

Admission by donation: $10 to $25, sliding scale

Funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will pay for the hard costs of presenting the showcase. Expenses will include vocalists and actors, musicians, promotions, programs and other event-related costs.

This presentation is a critical step in the process of producing a full-scale theatrical version of the work.  The production team of Always Remember is working towards a 2017-18 world theatrical premier in South Florida. We need your help now if we are going to see the fully-staged version of the show performed to large audiences!
