Arms Wide Open - “Willy Wonka”

Arms Wide Open (AWO) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children, youth and adults with special needs by creating (among other things) opportunities for participation in the performing arts.
AWO is staging a production of "Willy Wonka" at San Diego, California's 500-seat Lyceum Theatre from March 2-11, 2018. Your donations will help fund the show's production costs (theatre rent, costumes, props, custom set designs to accomodate our performers in wheelchairs and those with other special needs, etc.)
AWO offers its performers the chance to showcase their talents in a non-judgemental setting. Trained professional instructors lead the cast through months of rehearsals, where they perfect intricate choreography, challenging songs and heartwarming dialogue.
This interaction enhances and encourages social integration and confidence. It encourages exercise and healthy living; it also stimulates the intellect and individual learning abilities.
We need to raise these funds by February 28, 2018, so that these wonderful performers will have the sets, costumes and technical equipment they need. They are working so hard to prepare this show. With your help, they will show the world what amazing things they can do.
