Dog Rescue! Help Griffin

Griffin was rescued from the desert in 2011. He had a tough life at that point and he was only about 6 months old. He didn't know how to live in a home. He was afraid of people and afraid of the leash. With no foster homes open at the time, AZ Paws and Claws had to board Griffin. Albeit a great facility, Griffin needed a home and other dogs to live with to learn how to be Man's Best Friend.After almost ONE YEAR in boarding, the rescue group finally found a foster home who knew how they could help Griffin. For 7 months, he lived among their 5 dogs and was able to trust, receive love from people, stopped being afraid of the leash and was learning how to get into a car without fear.Then someone wanted to adopt Griffin! The rescue group thought they found a great adoptive family. They loved him so much. They knew his plight and wanted to continue his training. After a little over a month with his new family, they couldn't keep him any longer. Griffin's transition was hard on him and his adopters. His adopters were not home much and he turned to chewing to keep himself busy. He became more nervous and scared over time and it was time for Griffin to go. BIG SIGH!Griffin is now back in boarding and we fear he will digress if he is not able to get back into a forever home or a foster home who will be able to give him the attention and training he needs. Griffin is a special case. He needs a home with more than one dog so he can feel a part of a pack again and so that he can feed off of his canine pals' calm. He also needs a new family who is home to care for him. AZ Paws and Claws animal rescue needs funds to pay for his boarding and continue his training. We don't know how long Griffin will be in boarding so if we surpass our fundraising goal, we can make sure that Griffin is taken care of. If he is taken into a new home, his training can continue using those funds.Please help our sweet boy Griffin. Thank you!!!!
