Homeless family. Please help.

Donation protected

I'm Andrew/Drew (previously known as Blake). I'm 25, extremely disabled, ill, waiting on surgery, have to have frequent blood transfusions and hospital visits a year. My husband is Gareth (Previously known as Justin)We're homeless only because I became too sick to work (I was working 2 jobs at the time for 60 hours a week), and my husband is my caretaker.

And we're homeless and live in a tent in the woods because there are not a lot of accessible programs for people like my husband and I. I am on my 5th or 6th appeal for SSI (I have not worked enough quarters to qualify for SSDI) and we survive on my husband's SSI, which has been lowered to $645 a month. This gofundme serves as our bio mostly. And for international donations. we prefer you to buy our art or jewelry, OR, get stuff off our wishlist than donate money. Please keep this in mind. We are going to be getting off the streets in by going to Michigan to live with my disabled mom in November. Before we go, I am changing my legal name and gender marker because it would be difficult to do in Michigan, we have a GoFundMe to help with plane fare and getting our babies up to date on shots, as well as for furnishing our new apartment. Please follow this link for that . This gofundme is for SURVIVAL needs. Such as food for us and our fuzzy kids, and clothes and gear.

We own a small business named  Caged Earth Designs ‌, and we make wire-wrapped jewelry and art. We pay taxes like any other business. We would prefer people to buy our art and jewelry, but not everyone likes wire wraps, that is why we also have the wishlist full of stuff we need to survive. We take better care of our ESAs than ourselves, and they are chubby, warm, and loved! They sleep in our arms! All of our social media links, and our knights' social media is linked into our website. We also feature other artists, homeless and otherwise
But we were originally trying to raise money to get to Europe in October of 2018 to better our lives.  BUT we found that it just was not possible.

Yes, we have phones and a laptop. The laptop was purchased when we were housed and has a cracked screen, and I use it to run our business. Our phones are $50 androids through boost Mobile. We pay for them.  We need them to make doctor's appointments, and use our card reader for our business, update our babies' social media, and update our business social media. Also, our families and friends worry when they can't reach us, and we need to be able to communicate with each other.

The following is the reason we remained homeless for nearly 2 years for those just starting to get to know us.

1. Too young for senior/assisted living or disability shelters.

2. We are married without children, so we're not considered a family for "family" shelters.

3. Most "singles" shelters have stairs and you need to be completely self sufficient. I walk with a cane, can't do stairs, and my husband has to help me dress sometimes. Or at the very least he puts on my socks and shoes.

4. We have 2 emotional support animals, which are not covered by the Americans With Disabilities act. ADA recognizes dogs and miniature horses. Hotels and housing accept ESA animals under Equal Housing Opportunity, but shelters do not go by that, they go by ADA because they are non profit. So even if the above 3 weren't an issue, we'd still have a hard time going anywhere. We have a black, 40lb maine coon cat named #SirOnyxNewton with poultry allergies, and a itty bitty blondie ferret named #SirPeekabooNewton
They are our reason for living.
They are known as  #KnightsOfthefuzzytable
